Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had numerous skills, such as being able perform, direct production, create plays, teach, and be Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of both a British father as well as an Turkish-born mother from England. In her early years, Anna appeared on several commercials on television.
