Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and raised in the state. She went on to become a TV host on the talk show daytime The Talk. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, was raised among Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. She spent most part of her youth looking after Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. While she was growing older it was not easy to get along with her mum. Sheryl says that at one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was being too close with her. Sheryl was a college graduate when she was drafted into the military. Her passion for the military was comedy. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. She started her TV career after becoming frequently performing on the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. In 2000, she was host of the T.V. program Oh Drama! In 2011, she began hosting as a co-host of the talk show The Talk. Additionally, she's been in fictional roles on shows like Bulworth Nikki, and Beauty Shop.
