Lucy Liu, an American voice actress, director, as well as a talented actress. Being a smart and beautiful actress, she serves as a role model to several Asian actors working in Hollywood who wish to make it big. Following a string of early appearances in some popular series she gained fame when she joined the crew of the cult comedy show Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. The actress took her initial success into big screen roles in films like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She delivered a stunning performance as Japanese O-Ren, a gangster from Japan (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. At the same time she was an actor in films that failed of the box office like Rise: Blood Hunter were equally prominent. She then started voicing prominent characters in animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's role on the small screen in Cashmere Mafia did not produce anything of note. Southland's critically-acclaimed police drama, Southland and a recurring role helped Liu re-establish her status as a well-known actor. Liu has a lot of care when choosing her roles to ensure she's not a typecast. While she embraces her roots however, this has not hindered her in her work as an artist.
